Il nome \u00e8 l\u2019acronimo di Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00c8 stata fondata nel 1975 da Lama Thubten Yeshe e Lama Thubten Zopa Rinpoche, entrambi monaci tibetani; da allora si \u00e8 diffusa in tutti i cinque continenti, con 165 centri distribuiti in 40 paesi.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019educazione \u00e8 il cuore dell\u2019FPMT, che si propone di sviluppare e nutrire la compassione, la saggezza, la gentilezza e l\u2019autentica felicit\u00e0 di tutti gli individui di qualunque et\u00e0 grazie ai principi ispiratori del Buddha Shakyamuni.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019obiettivo dei centri FPMT \u00e8 quello di creare contesti armoniosi per aiutare tutti gli esseri a sviluppare in modo completo le proprie potenzialit\u00e0 di infinita saggezza e compassione. Questi insegnamenti costituiscono il fondamento spirituale, filosofico e morale di tutti i centri di studio, meditazione e assistenza attivi in tutto il mondo, nonch\u00e9 di altre attivit\u00e0 collaterali.<br \/>\nI centri FPMT si propongono di seguire l\u2019esempio e l\u2019ispirazione di Sua Santit\u00e0 il Dalai Lama nel mettersi a servizio compassionevole dell\u2019umanit\u00e0. Allo stesso modo, gli studenti e i professionisti dei centri FPMT si pongono l\u2019obiettivo di servire gli altri con gentilezza e saggezza.<\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"push\"
